Lead the kitchen of a new gastronomic project in the heart of San Sebastián's Old Town, focused on traditional Basque cuisine, seasonal ingredients and exceptional local produce. We are looking for an experienced Head Chef with strong leadership skills and a passion for authentic gastronomy.
A day in the life
As Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency and organization. Working with outstanding local and seasonal ingredients, you'll oversee the daily operation of the kitchen while preserving the authenticity of traditional Basque cuisine.

We are looking for a chef with solid experience in traditional Basque cuisine, including à la carte service, daily menus and pintxos, as well as previous experience leading kitchen teams. Strong organizational skills, professionalism and a collaborative approach are essential.
Responsibilities
- ·Lead and supervise the daily kitchen operation
- ·Ensure consistent quality across à la carte dishes, daily menus and pintxos
- ·Manage and motivate the kitchen team
- ·Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene and organization
- ·Work with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- ·Support the development and continuous improvement of the culinary offering
Must have
- ·Minimum 5 years' experience in professional kitchens
- ·Previous experience leading a kitchen team
- ·Strong knowledge of traditional Basque cuisine, daily menus, à la carte service and pintxos
- ·Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- ·EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Spain
