NOI, our 2 Michelin-starred restaurant in Hong Kong, is looking for a Head Receptionist to join its Front of House team. We are seeking a hospitality professional with outstanding communication, organizational and guest service skills to ensure a seamless reception experience while maintaining the highest standards of service.
A day in the life
As Head Receptionist at NOI, you'll lead the reception team and be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring every interaction reflects the exceptional standards of a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant. From managing reservations and optimizing the seating plan to welcoming VIP guests and coordinating closely with the Front of House and kitchen teams, you'll play a key role in creating a seamless and memorable dining experience.
Working in a fast-paced fine dining environment, you'll oversee the daily reception operations, support your team and ensure every guest receives a warm, professional and personalized welcome from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities
- ·Supervise front desk staff ensuring every task is completed following the company standards.
- ·Oversee the smooth running of the reception area, handling inquiries, and greeting visitors professionally
- ·Ensuring all guests are listened to and dealt with in a polite and friendly manner.
- ·Maximise the seating plan.
- ·Have an understanding of the operating hours of the departments and prioritise work accordingly.
- ·Clear communication between departments
- ·To ensure that the high standards of service set by the Manager/Chef are followed and applied all times.
- ·Support general office operations, manage bookings, and handle office supplies.
- ·Address VIP guests, resolve special requests, and manage the reservation system
Must have
- ·Experience: Proven experience in receptionist or front office roles in hospitality, ideally Michelin starred restaurants or 5-star hotels.
- ·Skills: Strong communication skills with proficiency in English, ideally also Mandarin and Cantonese.
- ·Attributes: Polished appearance, highly organized, and a team player.
